During last week and this week, I’ve been building Dragon Age fan art. After having clocked about 3 – 400 hours (I’m not kidding. Really.) of Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age II, I can hardly wait for Dragon Age Inquisition. That’s why it wasn’t so surprising that a co-worker gave me a poster for the game that he got at Gamex last year. On that poster were four rings…
I’ve been working with silver clay for a while and these rings (apart from the one with magic) are ideal to make using silver clay. Now, I’m still learning how the material behaves, so the results were not ideal or optimal, but this is what came out of the exercise.
These are the rings from the poster. I guess you can see why these are tempting?

Well, you can tell me what size rings you usually wear. The shield and the cross are approximately swedish size 19 and the circle with the sword is size 22 (it sort of got away from me). If you don’t know the size fingers you have, take a thin strip of paper, wrap it around your finger and make a mark where the end meets the strip, take it off and measure the length of the strip.
As for payment, I’ve got a paypal account, but let’s make sure the ring fits first?

Håller med om att Dragon Age är ett riktigt grymt spel. Har ettan och Awakening men har inte spelat klart ettan (Origins) än. Jag har en tendens att spela om och om och om spel då jag är svag för att spela låglevelpersoner men tröttnar då dom går upp i level.
Tycker att dom helt klart är mer än värdiga uppföljare till, Baldurs gate och Planescape: Torment.

Fasen vad mycket likheter Inquisition hade med spelet Dark Heresy (minus framtidselementen)! Riktigt bra om ni frågar mig! jälva grejen med DH är ju att sätta rollpersonerna i jobbiga moraliska lägen. Ser fram emot spelet! Jag tänkte faktiskt på hur likt spelet Origins är Dark Heresy med the Veil och The Darkspawn, som i princip är likadan som The Warp och the Ruinous Powers.

It’s a bit tricky to find a crystal cut like the one in the image that is flat enough to encase like that. I think the illustrator took a few liberties with the actual properties of facet cut stones. But yes, I have considered it.
