I know Mass Effec:Andromeda caught some flak because of animation, story etc. But it did do one thing well. It made a boss fight interesting. The Architect on the planet Voeld is a remnant from a past civilisation. You can approach it yourself if you want to, there’s no requirement to fight it, which is one of my favourite kind of boss fights.
All the Remnant Architects play pretty much the same, except for Voeld. Voeld is an extremely cold planet, and taking the environmental conditions into account saves the boss fight from being downright boring. Thinking, moving and fighting becomes the way to beat the thing, and because I have to keep track of more than staying out if it’s way, the combat becomes interesting.
