Yes, yes they do.

Okay, so I woke up in the middle of the night, having dreamed about how to fix the radials in BG III. I don’t even work on that game.

The worst part about this is that I can’t really get it out of my head. Sometimes a problem will lodge itself in there and it won’t let go, no matter how much I want it to. With the result that there are now an additional set of pages in my notebook dedicated to the radial in Baldur’s Gate.

I’m already suffering from insomnia, so thanks brain for taking on a problem that is absolutely not mine, but that seems very interesting and I wish I could fix.

I don’t know if this happens to a lot of people, but it seems to be happening to me quite a bit. Anyway.

I suppose there’s no harm in sketching a bit more. I can’t really sleep at night anyhow. I also have a backlog of around 40 pages in my notebook that I haven’t transcribed because I write everything by hand before I put it on the blog, posts like this being the exception.

I kind of get where the “I want to redo your game” comes from now. Or where it comes from for me. It comes from my dreams, because apparently, sometimes it is more important to solve a problem that isn’t even my problem to solve than to sleep. I really want to sleep.
